Cultural Events Strategy, 2019

Brand and team building for Selina, working with the global marketing and events team to help expand their creative process and build a structure in which they could consistently deliver a daily programme of on-brand cultural events at the property level.

Narrative Programming is the story that partnerships, events & programming tells the hotel guests. It builds identity, brand affinity and loyalty. Ultimately it drives demand and revenues naturally and organically. Easy to say, but hard to do across multiple territories, with very different audiences. To streamline and energise this process we designed and delivered a set of tools that took each property's, then 38, cultural lead through a process of building a local narrative, partnerships, calendar of events and marketing strategy. On the back end, this work was consolidated into a pack used by the C-suite team to ensure global brand alignment. Delivering this system at a global cultural and marketing summit we were able to ensure buy-in and in turn, the group saw revenues, attendance and awareness grow month after month.
